According to representatives of the city administration, today at the Kyiv city hall, the reconstruction plan of the famous Museum Center “Ukrainian House”, which is located at 2 Khreshchatyk, is under consideration. Perhaps a fashionable restaurant will appear here in the near future.
Andrei Vavrish, deputy chief of the Main Directorate of Architecture and Urban Proceedings, said that the task of reconstruction of the museum center is to improve the quality of the building, which will further make it possible to carry out all kinds of conferences and events at a high international level.
The reconstruction plans of the Ukrainian House Museum Center include the completion of the new corps located between the Vladimir hill and the building itself, the construction of the underground entrance, which will originate from the European square, and the complete glazing of the facade part of the structure. Also, overlapping between floors may appear on the project. Reconstruction will be carried out at state funds.
Recall that today the Ukrainian House is a five -story building of the former Lenin Museum, which was completed back in 1982. Now under its roof there are various exhibition halls, a presentation hall, a concert hall, an art gallery, a media center, a press center.
