Yesterday, in the capital’s House of Culture of the Bolivarian Alliance for the peoples of our America, a solemn evening was held dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic mission of Puerto Rico on the island of Freedom. A day earlier, representatives of the diplomatic mission of Puerto Rico in Cuba, as part of the celebrations, laid a wreath to the Memorial Filiberto Okhed Rios, a fiery fighter who fell for the independence of Puerto Rica. In his speech, before the celebrations at the celebration of Puerto Rikans and Cubans, a member of the National Independence named Eugenio Maria Ostos Nestor Nazario said that despite the all kinds of obstacles of the enemies of the Puertoorcan people, his country is and will forever remain the Latin American country. Further, Nazario spoke out for the speedy liberation of five Cuban anti -terrorists, who since 1998 languished in the prison dungeons of the United States of America. In addition, the speaker told the audience that several supporters of Puerto Rico’s independence are currently in American prisons.
For thirty years, Puertorican Patriot Oscar Lopez has been serving for thirty years, the only crime of which is the struggle for the independence of his country. Speaking about the political status of his country, whose citizen is Nestor Nazario himself, he emphasized that the people of Puerto Rico are ready to fight for the independence of their country in a difficult socio-economic situation. As Nestor Nazario emphasized, the Government of the United States of America is doing nothing in order to at least somehow encourage the process of self-determination of the country, which goes against the requirements of international law.
